dream cycle

there's so much to do all the time

thoughts to think

and people to try to be

it's busy work

the years flow by

and then something happens

we break someone's heart

someone breaks our heart

and we realize the dream wasn't a dream

it was a hope for a dream

and only after the heart break

and we've passed through the walls we thought were there

do we see what we couldn't before

and start to dream again
